Early Learning Teacher Gunnedah

Carinya Christian School Gunnedah is now receiving applications for the position of Early Learning Program Teacher, commencing Term 2, 2017.

The Applicant

Applicants must be committed Christians of reformed evangelical persuasion and be suitably qualified to fill this role within the school.

The School

Carinya Gunnedah is a Prep to Year 6 co-educational primary school located in Gunnedah NSW.

Over 90 families form part of the school community and more than 135 students are currently enrolled.

The region and the school continues to experience strong enrolment growth.

The Position

The position is a Temporary Full Time Teaching Position (Maternity Leave) for the Early Learning Program (Carinya's Gumnuts and Prep Program for 3 and 4 year olds).

Working as part of a dedicated team of experienced primary teachers, this is an excellent opportunity for Graduate Teachers, with either Primary or Early Childhood qualifications, to commence their teaching career in a supportive, professional environment.

Teachers at Carinya are employed under the Independent Schools NSW Standards Model. This agreement provides entitlements which are above the industry average and enables career progression based upon professional development rather than years of service.

Professional development is an important priority of the school and two non-teaching weeks are set aside each year during student vacation for all staff to collectively participate in Curriculum and Professional development. Carinya Term Dates do not match NSW Public Schools and can be reviewed via the school website.
