  • The date of the first game will be advised when we know.
  • Players should be dressed and at the field at least 15 minutes before the commencement of the game, or at the discretion of the coach.
  • Games will be played from 8:00am – 2:00pm. Most games are finished by 1:00pm. The football season completes at the end of term 3.

  • Players will receive shirts at school and they will be borrowed out on their library card.
  • Teams wear soccer shirts in school colours (provided)
  • School sport shorts with logo are to be worn.
  • Long red socks with two black stripes can be purchased from the uniform shop or elsewhere.
  • Shin pads are essential. The rules of all ages specify that shin pads must be worn.
  • We recommend that all players wear a well fitting mouth guard.
  • Most players choose to wear football boots but they are not compulsory.

  • Draws for the whole season will also be online within a short time of the commencement of the competition.

  • Is compulsory.
  • Will be once a week
  • Under 5-11’s will train after school between 3:30 and 4:30pm. This is likely to be a Tuesday afternoon, but will be confirmed once coaches have been assigned.

  • If a child is not at training, without notification, they may not be eligible to play in the next game.

2015 fees are: $100 (ages 5-7), $113 (ages 8-11),

The bulk of this fee goes to the Football Federation Australia, Northern New South Wales Football, Northern Inland Football, and Tamworth District Football Association. A small portion is allocated to Carinya for the maintenance of training gear and playing jerseys each year. A breakdown of these fees can be viewed during the registration process if you wish.

Payment Methods

You can either pay online using a credit card when registering. If you do there is a 3% transaction fee applied by the MyFootballClub website. Alternatively you can print an invoice and make a direct deposit to the bank account nominated on the invoice. Payments will not be processed at the School Accounts Office.

Parent Support

If you have a particular flair or interest in soccer, we would welcome assistance with coaching the teams. Please inform Mr Bickersteth on or before the registration evening. The parents who coached last year made a great commitment to the teams and are encouraged to commit again this year. Please specify which team you would like to coach. Alan Hutchison, Stephen Carter and Charles Bickersteth are able to assist any parents who would like to give coaching a go but need a hand in getting started.

No. of Players Per Team

Tamworth District Football has placed a limit on how many players can be registered per team. Once a team has reached its limit of registered players, the following players that register for that team may not be guaranteed a spot. We will try out best to accommodate all players, but if you want to make sure of your spot in a team, register earlier.

If thereis more than one team in an age group, every attempt will be made to match the teams based on ability.

Under 12's and older

Just a reminder, that Carinya is not entering teams in the U12's and older divisions. Please see the changes to Carinya Football note under the 'Sports Notes and Events' tab on the Carinya website.
