Carinya E-books

Carinya eBook Lending Library is a collection of fiction and non-fiction books which caters to students from Kindergarten to Year 12. Books in the collection are selected from a range of authors including William Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Beatrix Potter, Mark Twain, H.G. Wells through to popular modern authors such as Colin Thompson, Belinda Murrell, Jacqueline Harvey, Michael Morpurgo and John Flanagan.

Note that we also have a large range of Classic books published by Gutenberg Press. Although these titles are all listed as "Adult", many are children's titles, so don't forget to browse these for some excellent children's fiction. These books can be downloaded permanently to your reader.

All eBooks have borrower age restrictions (similar to those in our physical library) so students who are 6 years old, for example, will not be able to borrow books that have a suitability age restriction of 13 years.

How to Get Started

By clicking on the link below, students and teachers can access the eBook Lending site to view available titles. You will be required to enter your Carinya Network Username and Password in order to borrow. You may borrow one book at a time and this will remain available for 14 days, after which time the book will be disabled and made available to other borrowers. Each book may be downloaded to up to 6 internet capable devices (including Kindle Fire). The eLibrary website has a detailed Help section to assist with questions about how to download and what devices can be used.
