Special Education

Meeting individual needs of learners is a high priority at our school. Teachers are skilled at identifying children who are at risk of not meeting age acceptable outcomes and then developing programs to remediate learning difficulties.

Teachers are assisted by trained and experienced teacher's aides to deliver the educational program. Depending on the level of need, this may involve in-class support and modification of the regular learning program as well as withdrawal on an individual basis.

Good access to the school library and to up to date computer technology enables teachers to extend and challenge students. All children are encouraged to develop and use their God-given gifts and abilities faithfully.
