Audio & E-Books

The Carinya eBook Lending Library has two collections:

Primary eLibrary - a collection of mainly fiction books which caters to students from Kindergarten to Year 12. This collection also has Audiobooks. Users will need to download the free Wheelers App in order to listen to Audiobooks.

Secondary eLibrary - a collection of mainly fiction books which caters primarily to students in Year 7 to Year 12 with an emphasis on senior years 9 to 12. This collection also has Audiobooks. Users will need to download the free Wheelers App in order to listen to Audiobooks.

Students may log in to borrow age-appropriate titles.

All eBooks have borrower age and year group restrictions (similar to those in our physical library). This means, for example, that students who are 8 years old or in Year 3 will not be able to borrow books that have a suitability age restriction of 13 years OR Year 7.

RESERVATIONS: Although the collections contain multiple copies of many popular titles, it may still be necessary to reserve titles that are all out on loan.

How to Get Started

By clicking on the eBook links below, students and teachers can access each eBook Collection to view available titles. You will need to signed in via Google using your Carinya email address and password. You may borrow two books at a time from each collection, and these will remain available for 14 days, after which time each title will be disabled and made available to other borrowers. Each book may be downloaded to up to 6 internet capable devices (including Kindle Fire). The eBook Lending Library website has a detailed SUPPORT section to assist with questions about how to download apps and which devices can be used.
